Source catalogue · September 2026
The surveys behind the adoption evidence.
Fifty-three surveys and survey-based publications in the September 2026 catalogue across architecture, engineering, construction, infrastructure, property and facilities management.
This is a discovery library, not a league table. The surveys use different people, questions and definitions of AI. Their results should be read within each study, not averaged together.
Included items were published or current between 24 September 2025 and 24 September 2026. A survey repeated under the same name is not automatically comparable over time: the questions, samples and definitions need checking each year.
Geographic coverage
Broad reach, uneven depth.
Every inhabited continent has at least two sources or disclosed regional cuts. Europe and North America have the deepest recurring coverage. South America remains the clearest gap.
Africa
Strong recent academic work in Ghana and Nigeria; little recurring representative industry evidence.
Asia
Country and regional studies, although the Middle East and Asia Pacific are often aggregated.
Europe
The deepest architecture and property coverage, with several recurring professional surveys.
North America
The largest concentration of commercial benchmarks and the strongest official comparator evidence.
South America
Only one locally originated sector source; global regional cuts do not close the gap.
Oceania
Good Australian and New Zealand construction and property coverage, including repeated series.
Minimum identifiable sources or regional cuts. The figures are not additive because one global survey can cover several continents.

A marker shows the eight series examined in detail for the adoption review. Other repeated surveys are still useful, but it has not yet been checked whether their results can be compared from one year to the next.

The catalogue records distinct datasets or survey programmes rather than every article that cites them. It excludes open recruitment notices, literature reviews, vendor telemetry without a respondent survey and material published before the 12-month cutoff. Source links lead to the publisher or paper page available when the catalogue was checked.
What this library is for
Use the list to find a source. Use the review to understand the market.
A single survey can explain one profession, market or organisational question. It cannot establish a global adoption rate. The evidence review uses five comparable recurring series to assess direction. The overall evidence summary brings these findings together with source-labelled cases.
